STRABAG International wins the Delhi Meerut RRTS Corridor of NCRTC
With the world slowly recovering from the grapple of COVID-19, the year 2021 has started on a special note for STRABAG International. We are delighted to have won a prestigious project at National Capital Region Transport Corporation Limited (NCRTC).
STRABAG International will be responsible for the design, detailed engineering, supply, installation, testing, commissioning of Environment Control Systems (ECS), Tunnel Ventilation Systems (TVS), Electrical, and SCADA OCC/BCC Systems for four underground stations on Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS Corridor of NCRTC. The project scope will also include building ventilation for the corridor. The project is worth INR 167.5 Cr/Eur 19 Mio.
The project is one-of-its-kind, and we are privileged to work with NCRTC on this project, which is:
- India's first regional RRTS project
- A ‘Make in India’ initiative
- First hi-speed metro project of up to 180 kmph
- Daily ridership of around 8,00,000 passengers
Through this project, STRABAG International will be venturing into the MEP work (ECS, TVS, and E&M) in underground metro stations and tunnels. STRABAG International is excited to provide
best-in-class technological know-how and expertise in the underground metro tunnel domain for the project.
